Here's to the crazy one

I was working at Apple when Steve Jobs passed away, and you could just feel something changing as you read the email sent by Tim Cook letting everyone know. From that point forward, I’ve had a reminder in my Reminders app that pops up every October 5th, with the text:

Here’s to the crazy one who dedicated his life to changing ours.

It’s a nice reminder of Steve, and that we all have the ability to leave our own dent in the world — impacting the lives of others, even if we haven’t met them.

Apple continues to keep their Remembering Steve Jobs page live. Additionally, there’s the new Steve Jobs Archive that was announced during the 2022 Code conference.
