Social Media's Worst Decade

The negative impact of social media on children and teenagers has been thoroughly studied but not much has been done. Some could argue the decision makers at these companies haven’t acted because it didn’t impact them personally. That is, until now. Elon has shown us the negative impact of social media on adults. If a wealthy, powerful, and believed-to-be smart adult can loose control on these platforms, then children have no chance in hell.

Additionally, Elon was focused on accelerating the transition to sustainable energy and making humanity a multi-planetary species. Now, he’s focused on fixing Twitter. Putting aside the seemingly negative impact it’s had on Elon, social media has now severely distracted someone who was previously focused on doing ambitious and noble things. Again, children have no chance in hell.
